Why Did I Decide To Join The CDJP And Took Visible Role In The Organization?

Basic Political Concerns

First above all, as a person who has had the opportunity to be educated in the United States, who has experienced the freedom and liberty of the American life, and who has witnessed how democracy is working in the United States, I believe that Chinese people in China should be no difference than Americans. They deserve the same freedom, liberty and a democratic government.

I believe the U.S. government has the intention to change the China government from dictatorship to democratic just as it has done for Afghanistan, Iraq, etc. But I also believe it is up to the Chinese people, not the U.S. government, to turn the intention to change the China government into reality. I am happened to be a Chinese who has been living in China under the Communist dictatorship government before, who has family members and close friends still living in China under the Communist dictatorship government now, and also a Chinese who is living safely in the United States, who has been educated here, experienced the freedom and liberty of the American life here and witnessed the benefit of the democracy government system here, I believe I have a greater intention, just like many other fellow Chinese in the United States do, than the United States government to change the China government from dictatorship to democratic.

The question here is not IF the vast majority Chinese both live in China and in the United States WANT to change the China government. The question I see is HOW such vast majority Chinese CAN HELP to change the China government. Many of those don't know the answer. It is up to these who have known the answer to educate those who have not yet known yet. To be specific, Internet provides the greatest tool for the known to educate the unknown through providing the information. Internet usage is now the greatest leak for breaking China Communist government's efforts to isolate Chinese people from being so educated.

Why CDJP?

CDJP is not only an organization possesses the answer to HOW should be done and what kind of steps should be taken to Change the China government, but also an organization closely pays attention to apply Internet technology in getting the information into China.

CDJP clearly reserves the rights to support people's revolution in case the Chinese people choose to do so under the Communist government's extreme violent oppressions. CDJP promotes peaceful means by the statement says "Entering The Reality, Participating In Reform, Pushing The Change, Infiltrating The CCP, Destroying The Dictatorship From With In, Building The Democracy". CDJP sees faith movement is the essential phase of the China democracy movement. You don't find such combinations, or even a single one, in any other Chinese democracy movement organizations both domestically in China and in the overseas Chinese dissidents community.

You must agree with me that the CDJP is one of its kinds and certainly the greatest one among all. No other organizations have ever achieved a national movement like the CDP seeking legal Registration of an opposition political party in China. And no leaders like Dr. Wang Bingzhang of a political opposition organization have ever been kidnapped by the China Communist government from a foreign country and been sentenced to life in prison by the China Communist government. CDJP has proved that it is the organization the China Communist government hated most and fears its leaders most. This also means CDJP is the greatest and the flagship tops all the others.

If I have the freedom to choose between working for a local Flushing computer software development company and Microsoft, I will certainly choose Microsoft. It is not because of the rewards are not the same, it is because I must choose the place I am able to achieve more success in my life. I am saying this because it was the same think for me when I chose CDJP to join other than any other organizations.

Why Did I Initially Get Involved?

As of applying the Internet technology in the CDJP, there is room for me to play my important role that others did not, could not or just did not realize. I am not going to repeat what has been said during the interview and what has been written in the statement submitted along with the application. I am going to tell you a true story for your better understanding of my feelings.

One day we had a flat tire on the road near Roosevelt Ave. in Elmhurst, Queens. Both my husband and I did not know how to take the flat tire down. When my husband was trying the wrong way to take the flat tire down, a Hispanic man who did not even speak much English gave us his hands. He did not ask for money but signaled by his hands asking us to step aside and let him to change the spare tire for us. He did it quickly and professionally. When my husband offered him a $10 bill after things done, he gave us a surprising look and said "God Bless You" in English. He then left with a nice smile. I observed he has satisfaction in his eyes.

I am telling this story to you because I wanted to tell you I had the same feeling and enjoyed the same satisfaction just as this Hispanic man when I stretched my professional and knowledgeable hands to the CDJP Internet work combating the China government's effort to isolate the information from the world of freedom.

Why Did I Choose Being Visible?

My response to this question from my basic instinct is: Why should I choose being invisible IN THE UNITED STATES while so many Chinese political dissidents IN CHINA choose or chose being visible. If I should concern to be invisible to start my fight with the China Communist government in the United States, then nobody is supposed to start any fight visible with the China Communist government in China.

I do not mean here that the question was wrongly asked. I understand that there are some people out there choose to be invisible doing things in the United States. But these "some people" are clearly the opportunists and they clearly do not have a strong commitment to what they say they have. They do not have the understanding in what is working and what is not, either.

I believe only letting the China Communist government know that there are real people in great numbers oppose its governance will make it feel the real pressure to consider making changes we are calling for. A great number of nicknames, as I can create a computer program to generate hundreds or even thousands of nicknames in just a few minutes, will not form real pressure at all for that the China Communist government will not be able to know how many real people are truly behind the nicknames or if there is only one person out there doing things crazy. It is the same that there must be real people to participate in a demonstration, the more numbers of the people participated, the stronger the voice formed, and the more pressure is putting on the government. It does not work when only one person goes to demonstrate and says he represents hundreds or thousands of people. This is why members in the CDJP usually choose being visible. In our CDJP, we do not recruit opportunists to become our members. In our CDJP, we prefer members who have strong commitment in what we are doing and who have thorough understanding what is working and what is not working.

A Few Extra Words

Maybe I have brought this issue too far. I never expected that the question about why I joined the CDJP and played my role visible could be an issue because I believed such reason should be taken for granted without the need for explanation. I believed a United States government officer of a democratic government system who also enjoyed the freedom, liberty and basic human rights would certainly understand what a Chinese from Mainland China (still under dictatorship government system), who was not allowed to enjoy the freedom, liberty and basic human rights, his or her desire to do things to have the China government changed when he or she have such opportunity to do so and is able to be safe as well. I am surprised to be questioned like this and I do not understand why it is so. I have to bring this issue this far in addition to what have had been briefly explained.
